Wendy Stark

Executive Director, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center

Wendy Stark is the Executive Director of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in New York City. She started at Callen-Lorde for the first time in 1994 as a Patient Care Associate, holding numerous positions before being appointed as Executive Director in 2007. In 2012, Wendy became the Senior Vice President for Special Populations & Administration at NYU Family Health Centers, where her focus included school- and shelter-based health centers as well as value based payment planning. In 2015, Callen-Lorde’s Board of Directors recruited Wendy back to the position of Executive Director at a much larger organization which continues to grow in size and scope. Wendy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pomona College and an MBA in health care administration from Baruch College/Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
