Avital Havusha MPH

Managing Director, Performance Improvement, Primary Care Development Corporation

Avital Havusha, MPH, directs PCDC’s Performance Improvement Practice, overseeing strategy, project execution/quality, operations, and business development for PCDC’s capacity building and technical assistance program areas. Prior to PCDC, Avital was Deputy Director of Programs at Public Health Solutions, overseeing large-scale health and human service programs. Previously she was the Policy Director for the Bureau of Health Planning in the Division of Health Care Access and Improvement at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), playing a lead role in coordinating response to federal and state health care reform implementation, including the Take Care New York policy agenda. Avital held roles at Yale University’s School of Public Health and an anti-hunger organization in Massachusetts. She received her Masters in Public Health from Yale University.
