Mrs. Beth Edwards joined Capital Link staff as the Health Center Operations and Facilities Planner in 2022 and is now the Chief Consulting Officer. Mrs. Edwards works directly with health centers nationwide and coordinates a team of expert Project Consultants to assist health centers with capital expansion projects and other activities. She brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership and clinical experience into her technical assistance with health centers, primary care associations (PCAs), and other organizations.

Mrs. Edwards has a rich professional background, having worked in several FQHCs as a clinician and in multiple administrative roles, including the Director of Operations. Her responsibilities in the FQHC environment spanned strategic planning, HRSA site visits, board governance, provider productivity, compliance, grant management, PCMH, and day-to-day operations. She has also gained valuable experience in various medical settings, including acute-care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and ambulatory care, showcasing her adaptability and versatility.

Mrs. Edwards is a well-rounded individual in addition to her professional achievements. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a post-master's Nurse Practitioner Specialty. As a licensed registered nurse, she has earned certifications as a Clinical Nurse Leader, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, and Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification. Located in Irvington, Alabama, she enjoys various activities, including reading, spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and watching LSU football, which adds a personal touch to her professional profile.
