Associate Director, Training and Technical Assistance, Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO)

Albert Ayson, Jr., MPH is the Associate Director of Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) of AAPCHO, an organization dedicated to promoting advocacy, collaboration, and leadership that improves the health status and access of Asian Americans (AAs), Native Hawaiians (NHs) and Pacific Islanders (PIs). AAPCHO envisions a world in which AAs, NHs, PIs, and all communities have equitable access to affordable, high quality, and culturally and linguistically proficient health care. In this role, Albert manages the development, coordination, and implementation of AAPCHO’s T/TA activities that strengthen the capacity of community health centers and potential health center-applicants serving AAs, NHs, and PIs. Albert holds a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Health and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
