CDR Kevin A. Bates has over 15 years of project management expertise in the areas of Primary Care, HIV/AIDS, and Maternal and Child Health. Currently, CDR Bates serves as Director of the Compliance Evaluation and Support Functional Area within the Office of Health Center Program Monitoring, responsible for promoting continuous and efficient compliance for 1,400 Health Center Program grantees. Prior to this assignment, CDR Bates served as Director of the Office of Northern Health Services, North Central Division where he and his team oversaw health centers in Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Region III of the United States.
CDR Bates is also an active member in the United States Public Health Service (USPHS). For over thirteen (13) years, CDR Bates has proudly served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service (PHS).
CDR Bates earned his Masters of Public Health from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services
