Julie Hulstein is the Executive Director of Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS), the Region VIII Primary Care Association serving Community, Migrant, and Homeless Health Centers in the six states of CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, and WY. Julie began her work with CHAMPS over 26 years ago. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University in Denver, CO where she received the Karen Patterson Award for Community/Organizational Change and graduated with Honors. Prior to working for CHAMPS, Julie interned for the GW Medical Center Office of Public Relations, the Freer and Sackler Galleries of Art/Smithsonian Institution, and U.S. Representative Patricia Schroeder.
