Jackson T. Wright, Jr., MD, Ph.D., FACP, FASH, FAHA is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He is also Director of the Clinical Hypertension Program in the Nephrology and Hypertension Division there. Dr. Wright served on several U.S. hypertension guideline panels, co-chaired the treatment section for JNC 7, contributed to the 2014 U.S. hypertension guideline report, and currently serves on the hypertension guideline panel for the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology. He also chairs the Quality Committee of the Board of Directors of the FQHC Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Center. He received his MD and Ph.D. (Pharmacology) from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan.
