Rita Lewis MPH, PCMH CCE

Deputy Director, Clinical Quality Improvement, NACHC

Rita Lewis is Deputy Director, Clinical Quality Improvement in the Clinical Affairs Division at NACHC. She works with Million Hearts team and leads the Hiding in Plain Sight (HIPS) sub-project of the CDC Preventing Heart Attacks and Strokes in Primary Care contract. Prior to joining NACHC, Rita worked at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) working on both clinical quality measures and NCQA's Recognition Program products. Rita earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in Science, Technology, and Society, from the University of Michigan, and her Master of Public Health with a focus in Health Policy from George Washington University. She is also a PCMH Certified Content Expert.
