Dr. Elena Marin currently serves as the CEO of Su Clinica in South Texas, where she began her tenure in 1986 as a National Health Service Corps scholar. Dr. Marin has served on the faculty of the University of Texas, and on numerous community, hospital and governor-appointed boards and committees. She was the recipient of the Local Legends Award by the American Medical Women’s Association and Congressman Salomon Ortiz for her contributions to community health. Dr. Marin graduated from the University of Houston-School of Pharmacy, Boston University School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at Duke University.
