Ama Johnson's background is in Revenue Cycle Management, Practice Management, Allied Health Education, and Instructional Design. Prior to joining NACHC, she served as Managing Director of Operations and Revenue Cycle for an FQHC in New York; as Billing, Operations, and Training Specialist for a Health Center Controlled Network, and as Health Center Manager for one of the largest FQUCs in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Ama has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Health Care Administration and a Master's degree in Instructional Design and Online Technology.
