Alex Harris works in the Grassroots Advocacy Department at the National Association of Community Health Centers. As the deputy director for National Advocacy, she helps oversee a network of over 130,000 health center advocates and contributes to advocacy capacity building at health centers and state primary care associations through on-the-ground trainings and resource development in both English and Spanish. In 2013, Alex graduated from UNC with a Master of Science in Public Health. While in North Carolina she worked at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association, focusing on policy issues related to outreach and enrollment and school-based health.
