Warria Esmond, MD serves as the Chief Clinical Officer of AllianceChicago (2021) and as the Chief Medical Officer of Settlement Health and Medical Services (2004), an FQHC that serves East Harlem and surrounding communities in New York. She is a graduate of Weill Cornell Medical College and competed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her role as CCO at Alliance Chicago, Dr. Esmond leads Clinical Collaboration across the network, clinical operations optimization, and developing programs for mentorship. She also works closely with the Informatics Team to develop and refine clinical content to meet the needs of the health centers. As the CCO, she also works on cross-team initiatives in collaboration with the Practice Transformation, Health Information Technology Operations, and Data Teams. This work is conducted in collaboration with Health Choice Network and Dr. Timothy Long.
As CMO of Settlement Health, Dr. Esmond leads the clinical teams, Quality Improvement initiatives in addition to other health Center clinical operations. She is Chair of the New York Primary Care Association’s Clinical Committee (CHCANYS) and serves on the NACHC Clinical Committee.
