Throughout his career, Scott Stewart’s guiding light has consistently been driven by a commitment to improving lives, whether by facilitating access to a primary care physician, providing life-changing maternal healthcare, or ensuring access to essential medications for managing HIV. His work centers on advancing health equity and justice, ensuring that every individual has the resources they need not only to survive but to thrive. This focus includes championing equitable solutions and working to eliminate systemic barriers to social and health disparities. Scott’s passion is realized through his efforts to foster collaboration across sectors to address complex issues.

With over 10 years of experience, Scott has made significant contributions to community health centers, nonprofits, and initiatives focused on health and wellness, education, youth development, LGBTQ+ rights, and addressing sexual violence. Scott currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Honor Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Oakland County, Michigan, where he led the development of innovative projects and programs aimed at enhancing health equity and ensuring the organization's long-term sustainability. Previously, Scott was the Vice President of Programs for the Pontiac Community Foundation, where he worked to make Pontiac a premier place to live, work, and play by driving systems change in the community.

Scott is also deeply committed to community service. He is the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors at Avalon Healing Center and serves on the boards of Lighthouse MI and the Michigan Nonprofit Association. In addition, he shares his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Rochester Christian University. Scott holds a Master of Public Administration from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan University.
