Dr. Matthew Bertsch has had a passion for educational program creation for the last 5 years of his tenure at Sun Life Health. He was responsible for overseeing the creation of Sun Life’s PGY1 Community Based Pharmacy Residency Program, accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. Since then, he has taken a role of Director of Education and will be responsible for all educational initiatives in the organization. Dr. Bertsch is also responsible for guiding the pharmacy strategy in the organization for both the ambulatory care and community pharmacies, and 340B operations.
