Martin Sabol, Director of Health Services, York County Community Action Corporation/Nasson Health Care: Martin Sabol has been involved in the health care systems of Maine for 30-plus years, with experience in areas of public health, health policy and service delivery. Prior to beginning his tenure as Director of Health Services at YCCAC/Nasson, Mr. Sabol worked for the City of Portland Public Health Division, as the Manager of the Infectious Disease Program. Mr. Sabol has also worked as the Director of Health Care Coverage for the Maine Primary Care Association, where he directed several projects intended to streamline eligibility rules and maximize enrollment in Medicaid and Maine’s other health benefit programs. He has a working knowledge of health systems, and strong experience with underserved populations in the state of Maine. Today, Mr. Sabol serves as the Board President for the Maine Primary Care Association.
As Director of Health Services at YCCAC/Nasson, Mr. Sabol oversees all health center operations, including grant management, quality improvement, risk management and policy development. Mr. Sabol collaborates with the Executive Director, CFO, Medical Director and other key members of YCCAC’s leadership to ensure YCCAC is in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and grant requirements, and oversee the health center’s growth and involvement with various State, regional and national programs. Mr. Sabol serves as the Immediate Past Board President for the Maine Primary Care Association and Board Treasurer of the Community Care Partnership of Maine, an accountable care organization comprised of FQHCs and small hospitals throughout the state.
