Larry Horlamus, MS is the Deputy Director of Quality within the Office of Quality Improvement in HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care. Within the bureau, Quality’s focus is providing high-impact technical assistance to support clinical quality improvement within the heath center program, which supports 1400 health centers. Larry’s projects include Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition, the National Hypertension project, and the Workforce Well-being survey, to name a few.
Larry joined HRSA in 2011 and has served as auditor, public health analyst and lead public health analyst prior to joining the Office of Quality Improvement. He draws from past experience providing direct support to health centers in his role as Deputy Director of Quality. Previously, he held positions in banking and corporate finance with a focus on internal audit, and served over 21 years in the Maryland Army National Guard attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Larry earned his BA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland, and a Master’s degree in management with a specialty in army operations and national security.
