Joey Marie Horton

Joey Marie Horton is the Chief Executive Officer of North Country Family Health Center, a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, located in Northern NY. Joey Marie returned permanently to the Health Center in 2014 as she worked for the organization from 2007 to 2012 in its School-Based Health Program. At the time of her return, the Health Center was days away from shutting it doors given a lack of adequate cash flow. Working collaboratively with community partners, Joey Marie instituted and led an operational plan that retuned the organization to financial solvency. Joey Marie completed her Master of Business Administration in Health Services Management at the School of Business at the State University of New York, Institute of Technology. Joey Marie is a certified trainer in Situational Leadership (SLII®) and The Happiness Advantage | The Orange Frog Workshop™ and is a certified Digital Wellness Educator. Joey Marie is actively involved in the community serving on several community boards and is the Vice Chair of the New York’s PCA, CHCANYS.
