Craig Hostetler is a consultant focused on aligning payment reform with practice transformation, particularly for vulnerable populations. He is nationally recognized as a pioneer in evolving FQHC payment to support holistic, team-based care. In his previous job, he was the executive director of the Oregon Primary Care Association for 15 years. Under his leadership, OPCA designed a Medicaid Alternative Payment Methodology to provide a bridge to value-based by removing the incentive to produce billable visits. Craig is currently working with FQHCs and PCAs on developing and implementing value-based pay game plans, taking the current environment into account.
