Corinne Axelrod is a Captain in the U.S. Public Health Service and a Senior Health Insurance Specialist at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She is the lead for RHC and FQHC Medicare payment policies, and led the team that developed the new FQHC PPS and the new care management programs for RHCs and FQHCs. Prior to her CMS role, she worked at HRSA determining health professional shortage areas and medically underserved areas to increase access to care in underserved areas. Corinne has extensive experience in the design and development of health programs and payment policies for underserved populations.
