Carrie Forney Gordon, PhD is a Foremost Family Health Centers board member and officer (Dallas|Balch Springs, TX) and serves on the 2019 Texas Association of Community Health Centers Policy & Issues Standing Committee. With an extensive background as a community servant and musician, her accomplishments are vast. To highlight, Dr. Gordon successfully served 3-consecutive terms as Mayor of Balch Springs; retired after 32 years as a Housing and Urban Planner with the City of Dallas; is a professional singer and owner of a 12-member band; co-manager for Pop Singer/Songwriter Larry Gordon (Curb|Word Records); and spouse of the late Grammy-Award nominee Dr. Larry “T-Byrd” Gordon. She continues to advocate for health care, transportation, and economic development to bridge gaps to the delivery of services for “all”.
