Alfonso is a proud native of South Carolina and a graduate of Francis Marion University. His journey in the field of healthcare began as a Community Engagement and Development Coordinator at HopeHealth, a distinguished Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Florence, South Carolina. Alfonso joined OACHC in 2023 as the Advocacy & External Relations Coordinator. Alfonso is committed to being a staunch advocate on behalf of all Ohioans, working tirelessly to ensure that quality healthcare is accessible to every individual in the state. He is a fervent believer in the transformative power of FQHCs and Is dedicated to advancing the mission of community health centers and advocating for healthier lives for all.
