Gretchen Gates MSW, LICSW

Gretchen Gates is an independently licensed social worker with 10 years of experience in social service fields including homelessness, child welfare, behavioral health, and substance abuse. She is currently a Senior Clinical Manager within the Behavioral Health department at Mary’s Center, a federally qualified health center in Washington, DC where she has been fundamental in implementing the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) program. Gretchen currently manages both the IBH and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs and is working to expand integration at the organization by overseeing the Medical-Behavioral Health partnership. She has developed and delivered a variety of trainings throughout her career including Screening and Brief Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, Trauma-Informed Communication with Children, De-Escalation of Physical and Verbal Aggression, and Behavioral Health Integration Best Practices.
