Julie Sinai joined LifeLong Medical Care in 2017 as the Chief Strategy Officer. With more than three decades in the non-profit and public sector, Ms. Sinai leads LifeLong’s strategic plan to provide high quality, comprehensive health, dental and behavioral health care services for low-income families and individuals with complex needs. Ms. Sinai has extensive experience in local, state and national policy and program development in education, health and social services, and workforce development. Ms. Sinai served as the Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Berkeley from 2003-2011 and was elected to the Berkeley School Board in 2018. Ms. Sinai worked for UC Berkeley and the California Community Colleges forging local partnerships in workforce, education and economic development. As Vice President at REDF, a national non-profit dedicated to social enterprise development, Ms. Sinai led state and national policy promoting job creation for individuals facing significant barriers to employment.
