Michael Wittie MPH

Public Health Analyst, DHHS/Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT

Michael Wittie, MPH, is a public health analyst in OPOL’s Policy Coordination Branch. Prior to ONC, he worked at HRSA, supporting health center and network grantees using health IT for quality improvement, and at CDC providing evaluation and informatics support as a Public Health Informatics Fellow in the Office on Smoking and Health. He has also worked in both laboratory and health services research, as well as in community mental health, EMS, and tertiary care settings. He received his MPH in Epidemiology focusing on chronic disease surveillance and informatics from Emory University and his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and psychology, focusing on clinical research, from Oberlin College.
