Ted Henson is the Director of Health Center Growth & Development at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). In his role, Ted focuses on building and strengthening the health center pipeline through the development and support of Look-Alike Health Centers and 330-Funded New Access Point health centers. His portfolio also covers Health Center Needs Assessments, Health Center Program Compliance, Health Center Enabling Services, and the Health Care for the Homeless Program.



Prior to NACHC, Ted worked as a Community Health Needs Assessment consultant for a large hospital system in Rhode Island. Ted led the development of a statewide community health needs assessment involving stakeholders in local/state government, community-based organizations, and health care providers.





Ted earned a Masters of Science from the Harvard School of Public Health in 2012 in Health Policy and Management. While at HSPH, Ted was an American College of Healthcare Executives Foster McGaw Scholar, Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Leopold Schepp Foundation Scholar, and Alida Smith Memorial Scholar.
