Angela Powell MPH, CPH

Angela R. Powell directs the Office of Health Center Program Monitoring (OHCPM) in HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care. OHCPM provides program monitoring and assistance to 1,500 Federally Qualified Health Centers, with a budget allocation of over $5 billion. Angela's past leadership roles include managing programs in HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau and directing AIDS Support Services at the Whitman-Walker Health Clinic in Washington, D.C. She earned a BA degree in Life Sciences and a MPH degree in Health Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Powell received the Certified in Public Health credential from the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
