Adriana Andersen is the Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management, and Privacy Officer at Unity Health Care Inc., a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in the District of Columbia. Adriana is an enthusiastic Ethics and Health Care Compliance professional with more that 20 years in leadership roles supporting clinical research, privacy, and compliance programs at a variety of health care organizations including hospitals, academic centers, and research organizations. Adriana is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia. She has an interdisciplinary professional training. Her academic degrees include a Masters in Public Health from Yale University, a Law degree from Universidad del Rosario (Bogota, Colombia), and a Masters of Laws and Letters (LLM) from SUNY Buffalo (NY).
Adriana is Certified in Health Care Compliance, Privacy, and Health Care Research Compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association. She also holds certifications in Institutional Review Board Administration and Responsible Conduct of Research. She is an active member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
