Dr. Ebony Whisenant is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU SOMA). Dr. Whisenant is the Fellowship Director of SOMA's Primary Care Transformation Executive (PCTE) Fellowship Program which aims to strengthen the community-based, primary care workforce by helping practicing physicians and physician assistants develop the necessary skills to lead healthcare transformation and enhance teaching in the nation’s health centers. As the Fellowship Director, Dr. Whisenant works with a team to develop and deliver the program curriculum as well as recruit and mentor fellows as they enhance their understanding of Health Systems Science, Healthcare Transformation, Leadership, Public Health, and Community Project Design and Implementation.
