Hannah Mesa MPH, MPP

Hannah Mesa serves as a Program Director for MHP Salud, a nonprofit organization promoting the Community Health Worker (CHW) profession to improve health outcomes and empower Latino communities. She earned a dual masters degree in Public Health (MPH) and Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Michigan in 2020, where she focused on community-based interventions and research that improves barriers to health care and social services for Latino communities. Prior to graduate school, Ms. Mesa worked as a birth and postpartum doula in Southeast Michigan, providing free labor and delivery support to low-income families through a local non-profit. She has additional experience in global health program development and evaluation, and has worked internationally. Ms Mesa is fluent in English and Spanish and is located in MHP Salud’s Florida office.
