Serena Cruz

Serena Cruz is the executive director of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation where she oversees fundraising, public relations, community partnerships, and advocacy in support of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. Before joining Virginia Garcia in 2013, she led a construction company for five years and served as a county commissioner for eight. Serena serves on the boards of the Chalkboard Project, Oregon Historical Society, and NOW Oregon chapter. She earned her BA at Lewis & Clark College, her MPP at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and her JD at the University of California, Berkeley.
