Deputy Executive Director, National Association of Medicaid Directors

Dianne Hasselman joined NAMD as its Deputy Executive Director in February 2017. In this position, she leads the organization’s strategic and operational planning and execution; oversees its grant-funded programs; develops new initiatives; and directs NAMD’s team. Dianne is responsible for ensuring that members’ needs are met, so that they receive maximum value from being a part of NAMD’s network of Medicaid directors. Prior to joining NAMD, Dianne served as the executive director of federal programs at the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement where she led multi-stakeholder initiatives for regional health improvement collaboratives. She spent several years with the Center for Health Care Strategies where she led technical assistance programs and worked closely with state Medicaid agencies. She started her career at Navigant Consulting, formerly Tucker Alan. Dianne has a MSPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a B.A. from the University of California at San Diego.
