Angela Duncan Diop ND, CHCIO

Dr. Angela Duncan Diop is VP of Information Systems at Unity Health Care. Unity provides a full-range of health and human services to over 100,000 patients in the District of Columbia. Over the past decade, Dr. Diop has led adoption and expansion of health information technology throughout Unity's more than 25 sites. Dr. Diop has been a leader in the District’s development and promotion of health information technology in the District by serving on the District’s HIE Policy Board and the Capital Partners in Care Operating Committee. Under her leadership, Unity has been a two-time recipient of the Health Information Systems Society Davies award. Dr. Diop’s interest is in how to best utilize science and technology to engage communities and improve health.
