David Vliet came to the East Bay Area in 2012 with more than 19 years of experience in practice management and health services administration to join Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) as Chief Executive Officer. For 10 years, prior to joining TVHC, he served as the CEO of Central Texas Community Health Centers, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center, where he managed 22 delivery sites, over 500 employees, and oversaw a $65 million budget. Vliet initially served as Chief Operating Officer for the Centers for three years, leading the significant expansion of the organization and implementation of its Electronic Health Record and Electronic Practice Management systems, and overhaul of its operations.
