Program Associate, Federal Affairs, National Association of Community Health Centers

Aliza Auces joined NACHC in 2017 as a Program Associate in Federal Affairs, where she provides administrative, legislative, and logistical support. Aliza is also NACHC's lead staffer on legislative issues related to health equity, social determinants of health, housing health-related issues, and homelessness health-related issues. Prior to joining NACHC, she was a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Public Policy Fellow. As a health policy fellow in the fall of 2016, Aliza worked at the Association of American Medical Colleges. Following in the spring, she transitioned to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee under Ranking Member Senator Patty Murray (D-WA). Aliza is an Idahoan native and holds a Double BS in Health Sciences and Spanish from the College of Idaho.
