CAPT Paul Jung is an officer in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, currently serving as the Director, Division of Medicine and Dentistry in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Bureau of Health Workforce. CAPT Jung has held previous assignments at the Indian Health Service, Peace Corps, Office of the Surgeon General, Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Health, and Food and Drug Administration. CAPT Jung chaired the Physicians Professional Advisory Committee of the U.S. Public Health Service for two terms. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, completed residencies in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University and preventive medicine at Emory University, and earned his M.P.H. as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Johns Hopkins University. CAPT Jung is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine.
