Dana Vallangeon MD

Chief Medical Officer, Ohio Association of Community Health Centers

Dr. Vallangeon (Dr. Dana) is the CMO of the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC). Her job is to support OACHC leadership and member practices in ongoing work to improve quality of care, increase levels of integration of care, and adoption of best practices for patient centered care across the state. She works with the OACHC Integrated Health and Workforce Teams well as serving as the CMO liaison for CMO’s from member health centers. Dr. Vallangeon has herself served as a health center CEO and staff physician for over 17 years. In addition, she has been a medical director for a free clinic and a substance use disorder/mental health treatment facility, along with adjunct medical school and Family Practice residency faculty. In addition, she has been on multiple non-profit and ministry boards here in Central Ohio. She is board certified in Family Practice and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Vallangeon received her M.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and her B.S. degree from Olivet Nazarene University.
