Caring for Immigrant Patients
Recent policy developments highlight the need for health centers to understand the unique challenges faced by immigrant patients and their family members, and to implement strategies to support them. This session will provide an overview of recent policy developments, particularly around public charge, available tools and resources for both patients and health center staff as well as best practices in place in health centers to more effectively address health care and social service challenges.
