Learning Objectives

  • Identify and evaluate best practices and approaches in state and federal telehealth policy since the onset of the pandemic, with a focus on compiling a set of action steps states can take in 2021 to enact these best practices into law.
  • Assess and analyze the state Medicaid environment, based on current activities and the outcome of the 2020 federal and state elections.
  • Breaking out participants into red- and blue-state leaning groups, identify and differentiate various offensive and defensive strategies to support state Medicaid programs in 2021.
