Andrea R. Fox, MD, MPH, graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, and has an MPH from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in geriatrics at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, NY. After serving as the director of UPMC’s Benedum Geriatric Center and Clinical Director of the Pittsburgh VA GRECC, serving as Medical Director of both the Home-Based Primary Care and Mobile Geriatrics Unit of the VA Hospital, she came to SHHC as its CMO in 2006. Since that time she has built an FQHC practice that includes adults of all ages with a specialization in older adults, including home visits. She is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, former chair the Ethics Committee of the American Geriatric Association and serves on the NACHC board and Subcommittee on Elderly Issues.
