Kathy Ghiladi, a partner with Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell, advises community health centers concerning compliance with government-sponsored health care programs such as Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, the Public Health Service Act and the Affordable Care Act, focusing on payment/reimbursement issues and managed care arrangements. This work includes reimbursement counseling (identification, reporting, and repayment of overpayments) with respect to Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payers.
Recognizing that health care providers face increasing government scrutiny, she assists clients in responding to governmental audits and investigations, including subpoenas, OIG and False Claims Act matters. She assists clients in conducting internal investigations and developing compliance programs.
