Commander Catherina “Patrice” Walker is a U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps officer assigned to the Health Resources and Services Administration in Chicago. She has had an extensive uniformed service career in USPHS and U.S. Air Force (USAF) that has allowed her to serve underserved communities and military families; as a nurse and public health professional. She currently serves as the Region 5 supervisor for HRSA’s Bureau of Health Workforce. CDR Walker holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master's of Public Health from Florida International University.
