Mr. Scott W. Gold

Scott brings 21 years of experience to his work with health care clients and serves as a member of the Center of Excellence for the firm’s approximately 150 community health center (CHC) clients. In addition to managing audits and preparing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, he routinely provides a variety of financial services including analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B pharmacy reimbursement implications and developing reimbursement strategy. Scott provides support during Medicare, Medicaid and 340B audits, reviews interim payment rates, and also consults with clients on accounting and reporting problems.

He assists state primary care associations (PCAs) with financial analysis of important CHC issues such as Medicaid prospective payments, and provides education to individual health center management teams and boards of directors. He presents to national and state organizations on topics related to CHC financial management and third-party pay (Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B) reimbursement strategy as well.

Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a 1994 magna cum laude graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, where he earned his bachelor's and, in 1997, his masters in accounting.
