Lindsay Farrell was appointed President and CEO by the board of directors in 1998. Since that time, Open Door has grown significantly, adding new sites, programs and technologies serving more than 55,000 patients in 2017. Homegrown at Open Door, where she volunteered initially and has worked since 1986, Lindsay has been Open Door’s Director of Operations and Director of Development. Today, Open Door is accredited by the Joint Commission, recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, and has won the prestigious national Davies Award from HIMSS. Lindsay has dedicated her professional life to high-quality community-based care, efficient care delivery, and population health management to assure a more equitable health care system for us all.
