Eric Pan MD, MSc

Dr. Eric Pan is a senior physician informaticist with more than 30 years of health informatics research experience. He has served as Westat’s project director and subject matter expert for multiple clients, including the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, the Bureau of Primary Health Care, VA, CDC, and AHRQ. Dr. Pan is a senior study director in Westat’s Center for Healthcare Delivery Research and Evaluation, is its representative to the corporate IT committee, and led its quality assurance efforts. Before joining Westat, he was senior scientist at the Center for Information Technology Leadership (CITL) and associate director of CITL’s NLM Informatics Fellowship Program. Dr. Pan led CITL’s analytic and modeling efforts and trained staff in analytic, statistical, programming, and related research methodologies.
