Dan Fulwiler MA, MPH

Daniel Fulwiler, Esperanza Health Centers President and CEO, has over 25 years’ experience working in the field of health care for the underserved. He became the CEO in May of 2008, and has since grown the organization from a single site with 18,000 visits a year, to three sites providing over 85,000 visits per year. Under Dan’s leadership, Esperanza has become one of the highest quality community health centers in the United States, earning the Bureau of Primary Health Care’s National Quality Leader award in 2015 and 2016. Esperanza is on the forefront of the move towards value-based health care, and is a part owner of one of the few Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations in the country.
