Timothy McKinney

An advocate, collaborator, community-builder, and servant leader, Timothy McKinney leads the Bithlo Transformation Effort. He and his non-profit organization, United Global Outreach (UGO), have committed to simultaneous action in nine areas of focus: education, transportation, housing, health care, basic needs including social services, sense of community, the environment, economic opportunity, and the arts and athletics. The Effort is recognized as a national model in place-based community and population health improvement. UGO is now expanding the transformation model to other underserved communities. Tim also serves as the board chair of Community Health Centers, vice chair of Central Florida Continuum of Care, and treasurer of Homeless Services Network of Central Florida, and is the recipient of numerous awards in recognition of his advocacy efforts within his community.
