Leah Ward

Leah Ward has been the Communications Manager at Yakima Neighborhood Health Services for two years. Previously, she was a newspaper journalist at various papers around the country, including Dallas, Charlotte, Cincinnati, and Albuquerque. Leah has been on assignment to Mexico where she reported on the negative health consequences of picking tobacco and other crops on migrant workers who traveled to the fields of North Carolina. A graduate of Colgate University, she holds a certificate in business and economics education from the Columbia University School of Journalism.
