William Edwards

William Edwards is a native of Pickens, MS and is currently, the CFO of G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center, Inc. He has over 12+ years’ experience in governmental and non-profit accounting with 6 + years’ experience as an FQHC CFO. William graduated High School from Velma Jackson Magnet High School in 2004 located in Camden, MS. He graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In addition, William is a recent graduate UCLA’s Anderson School of Management Healthcare Executive Program sponsored by Johnson and Johnson and NACHC CEO/CFO Institute. Also, William is a graduate of the Leadership Greenwood, Program sponsored by the Greenwood-Leflore Chamber of Commerce. William is Certified ARCH/Pro Certified Biller and Coder. Last but not least, he was awarded Mississippi Primary Health Care 2021 CFO of the Year. William is an active member in his community.
