Rose Duhan joined CHCANYS in May 2017 as the President and Chief Executive Officer. She is responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership to the organization, working with the Board of Directors in crafting CHCANYS mission, vision, and goals and executing strategies to achieve those goals, in line with the priorities of the Bureau of Primary Health Care. Ms. Duhan has worked extensively on health care policy inside and outside of government at both the state and local levels. Prior to coming to CHCANYS, Ms. Duhan served as the Assistant Secretary for Health and the Assistant Secretary for Mental Health in the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, where she assisted with development and implementation of the Governor’s health and behavioral health agenda.
