Ashley Gibson

Ashley Gibson has served as the Workforce Program Manager at the Kentucky Primary Care Association (KPCA) since July of 2020. At KPCA Ashley manages the Bureau’s Health Professions Education and Training initiative and achieved 100% participation among all KY health centers with the year 1 Readiness to Train Assessment Tool (RTAT). Ashley also developed an HR/Workforce Peer Learning Collaborative and a Workforce Workgroup to bring together health center staff and academic partners to identify long term solutions to primary care workforce shortages. Ashley is a Past-President of the Kentucky Rural Health Association (NOV 19-20’) and has been a board member since 2017. Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2014 and a master’s degree in Wellness Promotion in 2015, both from Morehead State University.
